TAPLEJUNG DISTRICT

Taplejung District is the administrative area that encompasses the Kangchenjunga region.

The town of Taplejung, in the south, lies at the end of the road north from Biratnagar and is served by the airport at nearby Suketar.

Ghunsa and Folay, among the most northern villages, are 3-4 days walk from Taplejung.
